Greetings Wisconsin AMVETS. November 2025 Membership Report for the AMVETS Department of Wisconsin.
National Membership for Annual Membership Renewal Period.
- Annual membership renewal: (1 Sept – 31 Aug Annually).
- Election of Post Officers: (1 May – 30 June Annually).
- Post Revalidation: (NLT 15 July Annually).
Membership Dues:
- Annual Dues: $27.50
- New Life 55 yrs and below: $500.00
- New Life 56-65 yrs: $400.00
- New Life 66 yrs and over: $300.00

- Annual Members: 421
- Life Members: 2529
Membership numbers change frequently due to NEW members and annual members that have not renewed their membership. Annual members that have not renewed their membership will drop off the National database. Post leadership, please track your membership and keep the National database updated. We do not want to lose membership.
Currently the Department of Wisconsin has 53 Post on the National Database. One Post named Post 0000 contains members in the Department that are NOT assigned to a post. I assume they are listed as Members at Large (MAL). I will investigate with National and get this fixed.
At the last SEC, 12 posts were placed on a 6 Month suspension due to not being revalidated. Currently 3 posts are working on resolving the non-revalidation status. As a reminder, members of a Non-Revalidated Post, IF the charter is revoked, will be listed as a Member at Large (MAL). I encourage any member assigned to a post that unfortunately has their post charter revoked after the 6 Month suspension to reach out to another active post and transfer.
