Greetings Fellow AMVETS. Since last SEC, I have sent out numerous emails to the Department members, Post and District Commanders. Many have responded and many have not. In order to have our communications work within the Department, members need to check their emails and respond. The Members Datebase is up and running. It is only as good as members make it.
Post Commanders and District Commanders, please update the Members Roster. If you need the Google Docs Link, please contact me. With Election of Officers, I will need the roster updated as soon as you have your election’s.
Commanders, please remind your members about Annual Renewals. Check your Membership Roster from National on a regular basis. The MAL, (Members at Large) roster will be sent out quarterly to ALL Post and District Commanders. Please review the MAL roster and reach out to new members that became members online. As a reminder, have your new members join through the Department and avoid joining online.
On 20 May, 2026, I will notify National to Delete the previous Revoked and Folded posts from the Department roster.

At that time, all members will be listed as MAL, and the posts will be deleted from the roster. If your post would like to transfer members, it is easier to do it now, rather than when they are moved to MAL. Contract me before the deadline listed.
