Good Morning AMVETS Department of Wisconsin!
Well, here we are at the end of our year. It has been a great year! Many functions and travels with Commander Dale and sometimes his “DEB”. Our Project Sofas for Service was very well received, and a great need is out there, please continue to keep Veterans and Veteran Organizations aware of it.
After convention there is more fun waiting for us all with the State Campout at a new venue this year. Please bring your family and come join in on the FUN!
On a serious note, our auxiliaries are STRUGGLING to get new members, please do what you can to encourage your family members to join. They will be working for all of you and every veteran in the state, not to mention all our State and National programs. Keep this in mind please. We are down 3 auxiliaries in the last 2 years, our numbers are dwindling, and our population is aging and not able to get out to help us out as much as we all know they would love to keep doing.
While you are here, please support the Department of WI AMVETS ladies’ auxiliary by purchasing Calendar Raffle tickets, Convention tickets, our Raffle Baskets, and tickets for the patriotic, queen quilt that Robin, our Hospital/VAVS Officer is selling and that will be won this convention, all monies go to the Hospital fund!
